General Markets are held in Angel Place in the heart of the city’s main shopping area on Saturdays - from 9am. Fabulous stalls with canopies, counters, and lighting are all provided. An eclectic mix displaying a wide range of goods; typically e.g. fresh produce, cheese, specialty pies, meat and fresh fish, jams chutneys and eggs, incense burners and fragrances, fair-trade knitwear and crafts, Peruvian clothing, Italian designer wear, jewellery and accessories, gifts minerals and fossils, pet food beds and gifts, rugs and mats, flowers and plants, perfume and cosmetics, street food…by Feast Street!

Staffordshire County Show

County Showground Stafford ST18 0BD- Weds 1st and Thurs 2nd June - 8am - 8pm

The 2016 Staffordshire County Show will be held at the Showground on Wednesday 1st and Thursday 2nd June. The show will be a truly great day out for all the family. Come and sample some superb local produce, find some exquisite crafts and enjoy a whole host of family activities, displays and performances.

Go Green - travel to the Show on our bus service from Stafford Railway Station.

Derbyshire County Show

Elvaston Nr Derby DE72 3EP - Sun 26th June - 9am - 5.30pm

We order the sunshine, well most of the time, to complement the many attractions of a Traditional County Show. Every year the organisers put a tremendous amount of thought and effort into the attractions for the public to enjoy. 2016 will be no exception. So whether it’s the children, Mums and Dads, Grannies and Grandads - we are certain that you will have a day out to remember. Our Main Ring attractions are the J.C. Balls Digger Dance Team and The Knights of the Damned Jousting Team.

The Cotswold Show and Food Festival

Cirencester Park, Cirencester, GL7 2BU - Sat 2nd and Sun 3rd July - 9am - 5pm

The Cotswold Show is a two day family event held every summer in the grounds of Cirencester Park in the heart of the Cotswolds. With over 30,000 visitors passing through its gates last year, the Cotswold Show and Food Festival has firmly established itself as a must-see date in the country show calendar, winning the coveted Cotswolds Tourism Event of the Year award in 2015 and Highly Commended in the Visit England Awards for Excellence 2015.

Foodies are in for a treat at the Show’s new Cookery Theatre, featuring food demos by chefs from award-winning Cotswolds hotels, restaurants and catering companies. There is something for every taste from free range Gloucester Old Spot pork roast to gourmet venison burgers. There will be 250 trade stands promising to be hugely popular.

Classic Car Fair

Drakes Broughton - Pershore WR10 2AJ - Sat 9th July – 10am – 4pm

Drakes Broughton Classic Car and Bike Show and Village Fete at Drakes Broughton Playing Fields, Pershore, Worcestershire – Auto jumble, car boot, licensed bar, barbecue, live music, family attractions. There will be at least 200 classic cars on show.
